Quality Assurance Technician wanted in Malton, North Yorkshire
PAY: £26,000
HOURS: 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm
DAYS: Monday - Friday
Pro-Pak Foods is a major supplier of delicious ready meals to many of the UK’s leading supermarkets and convenience stores. Our chefs, working in partnership with our customers, have created a menu of more than 200 quality meals.
Our ideal candidate will have a proactive and positive approach, and be flexible, reliable, and accountable. You should be able to work as part of a small team championing quality within our site while ensuring all elements of compliance every step of the way.
Role responsibilities include:
Understanding and applying relevant standards and codes of practice so that our Customers, Pro – Pak Foods and Legal requirements are achieved and maintained.
Understanding and successfully implanting the quality management systems
Assist in the delivery of site standards for visits and audits either through direct input ,indirect support and/ or organisation of QA Team activities
Manage QA requirements for product launches
You’ll be the role model for delivering key behavior's and values
Operating in a safe working manner and support the site/business with continuous improvements
Assist in communicating to suppliers on technical issues to achieve resolution
Understanding of HACCP and experience working in food manufacturing
You will provide practical support to drive and promote a Quality Assurance culture.
